The Residential Program is designed to integrate relational and independent life skills. Two to three residents and a supervisor share a single-family home and practice self-care, personal responsibility, and learn to develop a healthy lifestyle. Supervisors are teachers who use Biblical principles to mentor and guide residents to live a life glorifying to the Lord. Exercise and nutritious meals, church attendance, and home management round out this comprehensive, loving program.
Residents leave the house by 8:30 AM and return after 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. They can work, volunteer, attend an education program or enroll in the Home Place day program. Personal hygiene, cooking, shopping, cleaning, and laundry are taught as a part of their daily routine. Residents develop meaningful relationships, serve, share, and learn how to show respect for one another and others. They attend Bible study and a church of their choosing.
