WHY Fundraising is important!

This tournament is our principal fundraiser for 2026. Fundraising at Home Place makes up 25% of our annual budget. These funds are used to support our mission: Home Place of Texas is a Christian based organization that seeks to Equip, Empower and Encourage adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) to live a more meaningful life. Your contribution increases our ability to serve our clients, expand our infrastructure and focus on creating innovative curriculum utilizing new methodology and materials. Best Monday Ever!

Since 2016, every Friday at Home Place of Texas has been known as the “Best Friday Ever!” From dress-up days to karaoke, pizza parties to water slides, Fridays are always something to celebrate. But this year, Monday gave Friday a run for its money at the Putting for a Purpose Golf Tournament. 
But the excitement of Home Place is not limited only to Friday. We love celebrating every day! There are opportunities to attend various classes, such as swim, Tae Kwon Do, and adaptive fitness. We offer dance class, reading club, knitting circle, and lots of volunteer opportunities. 
So while Fridays may hold the title… Mondays are pretty amazing too.
